Today’s Scripture
“And now, because of my devotion to the Temple of my God, I am giving all of my own private treasures of gold and silver to help in the construction” (1 Chronicles 29:3).

 

 
Today, we discover a multi-step model for successful corporate giving. David is building a temple and executes a giving program that invites everyone to participate, resulting in joy for all involved.

 
Nowhere in the Bible is there a Biblical mandate to control your life. In fact, we’re not in control! God is your “Rab-Koach,” your Mighty Power! Great in power and might, He is able and willing to rule your life, giving you power and strength to accomplish His purposes. Will you acknowledge that everything you have comes from him and that all power and authority truly belongs to Him?
