Today’s Scripture
“The Lord of Heaven’s Armies has called this army together. They come from distant countries, from beyond the farthest horizons” (Isaiah 13:4-5).
From the Beginning, Babylon has been characterized as a place of rebellion against God and it’s king has been portrayed as the devil himself.
Isaiah 14 paints a humbling picture of the fate of the devil after the last battle, once Jesus comes again and restrains him during the thousand year reign of peace.
Thank you for clarifying some of my questions. Sometimes it’s hard to discern the time periods and eras the prophesy is depicting.
And as I read Satan declaration, I saw again the similarities of his pride and the pride of the human race who often thinks they are god.
