Four Proclamations

Jul 24, 2015 / Bible Study / 1 COMMENTS

Today’s Scripture
“I am the First and the Last; there is no other God” (Isaiah 44:6).

Today we read four proclamations: one of returning home, one of coming power, one of a fallen kingdom and one of an everlasting God!

When God says He is the First and the Last, it means he is Rishon Va-Acharon. This is the Hebrew name, which means he is bigger, greater, and beyond everything else that exists. Infinite, without limits, he is not limited by space or time or any bounds. He is excellent and exceedingly perfect. Boy, what a name!

Wow, what a powerful message! How can anyone doubt our God when He proclaims things hundreds of years ahead and it comes to pass, exactly as written? What other God could possibly do that?

Thank you for the joy of studying His Word with you!
