Today’s Scripture
“Nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death not life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow – not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love” (Romans 8:38).

 

 
The way of the flesh works much differently from the way of the Spirit. The provision of deliverance from the power of sin came through the death of Jesus, but experiencing it today comes through the power of the Spirit.

 
If you have the Holy Spirit living in you, you have a new orientation towards God. You can sin less in this life; sin has no power over you. To be more holy, to live in the way of the Spirit, you must exercise discipline – identify old patterns, change them, and build new habits.
