The Mark of a Seal

Aug 17, 2017 / Bible Study / 0 COMMENTS

Today’s Scripture
“With them was a man dressed in linen, who carried a writer’s case at his side… He said to him, “Walk through the streets of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of all who weep and sigh because of the detestable sins being committed in their city” (Ezekiel 9:2,4).

Attention all writers! Today we read about a deadly writer’s case that is used to “mark the foreheads” of the saved.

In Jeremiah’s day, a scribe was told to mark those who were sealed. Those sealed were the people praying in earnest for the nation and grieving over the sins of the people. Likewise, in a future day of tribulation foretold in Revelation, a seal will be placed on the foreheads of the saved to seal them from harm from the enemy. If God came today, would He find you praying in earnest for the lost around you?
