Today’s Scripture
“Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come” (Jeremiah 33:3).

 

 
Today we read about Jeremiah, back at home in Jerusalem during the time of the Babylonian invasion. And after he tells the King that Babylon is coming, where does he end up? Prison!

 
Even Jeremiah couldn’t understand how God could restore the nation destined for doom. Yet, God, in His infinite mercy and compassion replies, “Ask me and I’ll tell you remarkable secrets you don’t know.” A time is coming when God will restore the glory of Israel and God invites us even now to come to Him with our questions.
