Today’s Scripture
“I call on God and expect an answer” (Job 12:4).
Inside today’s reading are various Scriptures that teach us about prayer. Along with prayer, today we discuss two Scriptures that touch the heart of the gospel and an end times resurrection Scripture you wouldn’t expect to find there!
Wow–today’s lesson is so rich and full! Thank you!
Here are a couple of additional thoughts:
1) In 12:6 the NIV Job refers to those who carry their god in hands–I’m assuming he’s talking about those who worship idols.
2) And 12:7-9 seems to correlate with Romans 1:20-23, that we see God and His power in nature and we’re all without excuse. I don’t know that I’m making a correct connection, but it sure seemed to fit to me. 🙂
Thanks again for another great study, Shannon. I love how no matter how many times we read His word, it we continue to find more nuggets of truth day after day, reading after reading.
