My Redeemer Lives

Jan 24, 2018 / Bible Study / 4 COMMENTS

Today’s Scripture
“As for me, I know that my Redeemer lives and he will stand upon the earth at last” (Job 19:25).

It’s normal for people to despair in the midst of trial and affliction, yet Job took a different approach. He rested in the knowledge that his Redeemer lives and affirmed his faith and hope in eternal life! Previously, Job acknowledged his need for a mediator and now He acknowledges faith that his mediator will come and save him (who is Jesus).

God will seek to loosen our hold on anything we place in higher priority than Him. As we let go of our hold to things of the world, we have room for more of Jesus in our lives. He gave His life for us so He could live His life through us. In Him, we have all we need.
