Today’s Scripture
“So that night, the soldiers took Paul as far as Antipatris. Then returned to the fortress the next morning, while the mounted troops took him on to Caesarea” (Acts 23:31-32).

Today’s reading includes more learning about Paul and we discover he had family in Jerusalem! He was arrested at the Temple and taken to Caesarea under guard, a trip which lasted two days.

What infuriated the Jews so much was not Paul’s teaching that Jews and Gentile could be saved, but that salvation could be found outside of Mosaic Law.
