Behold, Your God

Jul 23, 2015 / Bible Study / 1 COMMENTS

Today’s Scripture
“You have been chosen to know me, believe in me, and understand that I alone am God” (Isaiah 43:10).

Messiah is called both God’s servant (Isaiah 42:1) and redeemer (Isaiah 43:1). He has called us by name, and personally considers us his own possession. As savior, he will blot out our sins and will never think of them again (Isaiah 43:25)…… not ever!

The miracles performed for the Israelites during their Exodus and wilderness wanderings were certainly miraculous indeed! Yet, Scripture tell us all that is “nothing compared to what He has yet to do” (Isaiah 43:18). Are you living in the past, holding too tightly to the things God has already done for you, or are you fully living in the future, expectantly waiting for God to outdo the great things of the past!

How exciting to see Jesus depicted so clearly, hundreds of years before His birth! I love how both history and prophesy dwell together so perfectly in God’s Word. How can we doubt?
