Today’s Scripture
“If you bring an offering to fulfill a vow or as a voluntary offering, the meat must be eaten on the same day the sacrifice is offered, but whatever is left over may be eaten on the second day” (Leviticus 7:16).

 

 
The peace offering emphasized the fact that forgiveness of sins, which the burnt offering brings, resulted in communion (fellowship) with God and God’s people.

 
Fellowship with God is paramount, and fellowship with one another is also very important to God. We are to have a right relationship with God and one another. Do you need to forgive, make amends or lay something down you’ve been carrying heavily in your heart? You have peace with God through Jesus, now go and have peace with one another.
