Today’s Scripture
“A child named Josiah will be born into the dynasty of David. On you he will sacrifice the priests from the pagan shrines who come here to burn incense, and human bones will be burned on you” (1 Kings 13:2).

 

 
An anonymous man tells a prophecy in the Scriptures today that predict an event, fullfilled 290 years later. Josiah reigns from 640-609 BC and does exactly what this man fortells – he demolishes the altar and the priests.

 
God will not contradict Himself. He will not tell you to do one thing, then speak to you through someone else to do the opposite. Are you using four ways God speaks to clarify what you believe the Lord may be saying to you? God speaks to us through His Word, in prayer, through others and in our circumstances.
